National Flag of Singapore
My national flag. I start drawing this flag when I was 4? Yes, when I was in kindergarten and the teachers would want every kid to draw it, then paste our drawings on the wall. Those who drew well, got a golden star sticker on it. Wooo.. so envious. I see it everyday when I go to school, from my kindergarten to primary school and to secondary school. When our national day, (9th August) is near, every one will put up the national flag on their windows to show their love for this beautiful country.
.
The meaning of the flag - Red represent brotherhood and equality, white for purity and virtue. The crescent moon signified a young nation rising, and the five stars stand for the nation's ideals of democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality.
